Here’s another case of Austin going outside the box in order to solve a customer’s problem.

We produce a product that must go through an on demand printer and auto application machine. The product must stick to a truck tire with a silicone mold release on its exterior. The adhesive required on this product flows quite readily and under high heat (90-150 degrees F) it would sprout out of the edges of the label and damage the equipment.  This product is so temperature sensitive that we only produce and ship it during cool months due to high temperatures in the delivery truck trailers.

When we received an emergency call from a plant that had lost track of its inventory, we had to think fast.  Our solution?  We located a refrigerated truck to haul this product to our customers, avoiding a major shut down of their production line. These arrangements ensured that our customer did not shut down.
